Yay! It starts out as a "long-term" contract doing part-time hours. But the pay is really good and it definitely has potential for more. She told me that they have had another person working there for two years and that person is now doing full-time hours. I'm not crazy about the drive (it's near the airport), but I can deal with that. I am interviewing on Tuesday.

Anyways (j/k Silhouette) I'm looking to get a job soon enough, as something I'll negotiate in the JobCentre and also hopefully get a job being a GameDev Admin in my clan. *Fingers crossed* Hope I can do this!

I have come across my new favorite word... haberdasher.
It is impossible for me to not laugh when I hear the word haberdasher, even when I say it. Does anyone here know what a haberdasher is (without looking it up)?
Haberdasher... great word...

Dang!! It's what you said. Easily put, it's a suitmaker.
The secondary thing in the dictionary is a seller of small wares.

Hmmmm I cant make up my mind. I cant decide whether I want a truck or a car... If I get a truck it will be between a 95' and 00' dodge, and I will probably lift it, put big tires on it, paint it black, and get a good stereo put in.
For a car I am thinking of a late 60's or early 70's mopar that I can restore with my dad... I dont know what to get. Trucks are fun... but so are cars. There is a risk of what ever I get being stolen... which if stolen id probably go crazy and walk out onto the street and hit someone with a frying pan( im nuts :P). What do you guys think I should get??

That's what you get for asking a life-long seamstress.

Well I am seriously looking at the Corolla...Loaded of course. 20K! The Camry is just out of what I am willing to pay this time around. Plus the Corolla gets better gas mileage and that is the real reason for looking at Toyota's in the first place. Irritates me that Mrs Dood is unwilling to learn to drive a stick...better gas mileage and more fun.

I would've thought a woman would love to handle a stick..
..UH..
Manual is more fun - I don't see how anyone couldn't learn it instantly. Only thing I can imagine that would screw someone up is the clutch.

hang on, you didn't think of the airbags! :S
anyways, getting cars is a nono for me, yes it's protectable, but in britain, it's very likely to get stolen, so I want a scooter or a car out of my current location
